Althorp Nursing Agency was founded in January 2024, with the goal of providing unrivalled, yet groundbreaking forms of nursing care to the burgeoning silver population in Singapore. We pledge to enhance our client’s overall wellbeing, and ensure that they ‘age-in-place’ gracefully through our state-of-the-art solutions.

INTEGRITY
Founder
Lavanya Balan is the founder, and Chief Executive Officer of Althorp Nursing Agency. She works closely with government agencies, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare professionals, and manufacturing giants, to deliver unrivalled nursing care to her clients.
Lavanya received her bachelor’s degree (Distinction) from the National University of Singapore’s Nursing School in 2020, and subsequently practiced as a Community/Geriatric Nurse. She acquired numerous skills and accolades in this area, and played a key role in reducing hospital readmission rates amongst Singaporean older adults. Lavanya then obtained her master’s degree in Applied Gerontology from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2023. At NTU, Lavanya specialized in Leadership & Policy Engagement, and was also awarded the NTU MSAG Scholarship.
